www.MyAddo.co.za: If oranges straight from the orchards and a hearty country breakfast sound tempting, then the enterprising women of the Sundays River Women’s Institute have the solution!
A COUNTRY MARKET will be held in the grounds of the Valentine Hall, Addo on SATURDAY 2 AUGUST 2008 from 8h30 – 12h00 and thereafter on the first Saturday of every month with the exception of October when the Addo Rose and Garden Show is held at the same venue.
The market will sell locally made crafts and homemade jams, cheeses and rusks, as well as freshly picked farm produce. Plants and indigenous trees will also be on sale.
Country Markets have become a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning with the family while supporting local producers. Now there is no need to travel further than 45 kilometers from Port Elizabeth to sample some of the best. Explore the Sundays River Valley after you have visited the market or pop in to the Addo Elephant National Park.
Entrance is free and there is ample parking.
