The Farm was established in 2001. At the time it was just bush. The house, Entertainment, Dining Area, Rooms and Bathrooms are built out of Wood. Very Rustic and Ethnic.

Tatenda Lodge is situated on Glen Airmore Farm in the Bean River Valley some 650 metres above sea level in the Zuurberg Mountain Range. The property saddles the original wagon route to the interior which was constructed between 1850 and 1860 predominantly by hand and in itself represents a remarkable feat of human endeavour and ingenuity.
